Join us in the library for "Aliens and Others: Violence, Vulnerability, and Vigilance" by Dr. Katherine Kirby, Associate Professor of Philosophy, St. Michael College, tonight Nov. 3 at 7 PM in McKillop Library.
Drawing on the film District 9, Dr. Kirby will discuss Emmanuel Levininas' notion of Otherness as it contrasts with the way we normally think about, and respond to, otherness.
