Join us in celebrating National Library Week!

Daily Trivia Contest*

Starting Tuesday, April 10 through Friday, April 13 we’ll post a trivia question each day on our Facebook Page. The first to reply with the correct answer,  including the source you used to find that answer (website, etc.,---and Google does not count) will win a $5 gift certificate to Jazzman’s Cafe.  

Photo/Video Contest*

Any time during the week (through Sunday April 15), post a photo or video of you and/or your friends using McKillop Library on our Facebook Page. The best photo or video (determined by library staff) will be chosen to win a $10 gift certificate to Jazzman’s Cafe .
So, put on your thinking caps, take out your digital cameras and head over to our Facebook Page!

Stop by the library foyer and check out the displays created by Lisa Underhill including the history of the libraries at Salve Regina University.

*Daily Trivia Contest Guidelines:

• ---Reply with a comment to the daily trivia question. The first correct answer, including the source, wins the prize. The name of the source used to find the answer (website URL, etc.) MUST be included with the correct answer to win ("Google" will not be accepted).
• ---Enter as many times as you wish, however each entrant can only win once during the contest. If a previous winner is the first to enter the correct information on another day, the next entrant with the correct answer will be chosen. 
• ---Replies for each day will be accepted until midnight.
• ---Winners will be announced via the library’s Facebook page (and other social media outlets) and notified by Salve email (must have a current Salve email to win)
• ---The library is not responsible for connectivity, computer, internet, or other issues.

• ---In the case of group photos or videos, the person submitting the entry wins the prize (only one gift certificate is awarded even if multiple persons are included in the submission).
• ---Photos will be judged on originality, creativity and content.
• ---Explicit or inappropriate videos/photos will be removed and disqualified.
• ---Enter as many times as you wish.
• ---Entries will be accepted between Monday, April 9 and midnight on Sunday April 15.
• ---Winner will be announced via the library’s Facebook page (and other social media outlets) and notified by Salve email (must have a current Salve email to win)
